Check Identical Files is an utility that, as its name suggests, analyzes the content of your disk drives searching for repeated files. It also allows you to delete the repeated files found.
If you download files from the Internet really often, It is very likely that your system has a lot of disk space wasted with identical files. This utility detects and offers a convenient menu to get rid of them. You can make a comprehensive analysis of directories and subdirectories, see detailed information about each file, delete the files automatically or by hand and send them to the Recycle Bin or delete them directly. Fortunately, this software has a default protection for vital files and folders, and a button linked to the support pages and forums.

It has an optional wizard to guide you during the search for duplicate files and also to select the files to delete.

It is possible to install a "Default / Limited User" in Windows XP Pro and above. The trial version works only for 30 days and eliminates up to 80% of the selected files.

Minimum system requirements:

Windows 2000 (it is recommended TO install it in XP and Vista), Microsoft. Net Framework 2.0 or higher, 20MB of hard disk space or more, Pentium II 850 MHz or higher, 256 MB RAM or higher and 1024 * 768 or higher screen resolution.

Warning:
Only use this utility if you feel confident with file management...

Actually, you can just keep adding more drives (or folders) since it uses a list system. It handles multiple drives just fine! Too bad that it seems like an abandoned product, though... Sad Would rate 5 but for some minor annoyances in the user interface (graphical glitches or difficulty resizing some text to fit).
